David has more than 45 years of government (Navy), technology, and education experience. In business, David worked for Tektronix to manage the graphics software development group and new design automation venture investments. In Silicon Valley, he advised strategy teams including HP divisions, Andersen-Consulting, Apple Computer and smaller new ventures. He also worked for Strategos management consultants on transforming companies and industries. Strategos strategy clients include Nokia, GE Capital, Applied Materials, HP and Royal Dutch Shell. His government experience includes a Navy career in combat information systems and computer technology research management with the Office of Naval Research including developing joint R&D projects across Europe. David’s education experience includes teaching mathematics at both high school and college levels, as well as Adjunct Professor of Global Entrepreneurship at San Jose State. He is currently on the faculty teaching Strategic Management at San Francisco State. Recently he is focusing on clean technology ventures and is the Cleantech Open Mentor Program National Chair.
